Registrerde Kunsmatige Inseminasie Kursus
This two days course in combination with the AI course enables the student that registers to offer his or her services as an artificial inseminator to the public and to receive remunerations for the service.
The registrations is subject to annual renewal with the registrar of stock improvement.
Please note that the Course fee of ZAR 1,200.00 does NOT include the registration fee of approximately ZAR 120.00.
After 01 May 2010 - Course fee R 1,500.00, including registration fee for the first year.
For deposits from countries other than South Africa or Namibia, a fee of R 150.00 applies to cover bank charges.
Embryo Transfer Course /
Embrio Oorplasings Kursus
This three days instruction course is intended for the Rancher, Dairyman, Artificial Insemination Technician, Animal Scientist and Veterinarian.
In a simple, practical fashion all elements for a successful embryo transfer program are demonstrated, explained an practiced.
This course will enable the student with sufficient practical "know-how" to apply him or herself in the field by transferring embryos.
The course fee is R 3,000.00 per person.
After 01 May 2010 - Course fee R 4,500.00 per person
For deposits from countries other than South Africa or Namibia, a fee of R 150.00 applies to cover bank charges.
Sheep Artificial Insemination Course /
Skaap Kunsmatige Inseminasie Kursus
This two days course will enable the student to manage, gain the knowledge and skills necessary to artificially inseminate sheep and goats.
The course and lectures provided are a comprehensive study of the reproduction and A.I. in small stock.
The course fee is R 1,250.00 per person
After 01 May 2010 - Course fee R 1,800.00 per person
For deposits from countries other than South Africa or Namibia, a fee of R 150.00 applies to cover bank charges.
If required trainees can in addition to the normal Sheep AI course do the registered AI course, which allows them to register with the registrar of stock improvement and offer his or her services to the public.
The course fee is R 1,250.00 per person, which does NOT include the registration fee of approximately R 120.00 (optional).
